know why I say we’re already in a recession here in Manila? Look around and you’ll see stores selling their wares in rock bottom prices. landmark just had their Father’s Day sale and they gave away their goods as much as 70%. wow! others, like Ayala Center and Market!Market! also had their “great sales”. Yet, no one is biting. most people are waiting for the recession to blow by. but, how will it when everybody’s not buying anything?

Face masks are a rage nowadays, especially in Manila. People are wearing them with pinache. Some paint theirs with their faces, leading to some calling them “face masks with faces”. Others, well, they just paint whatever they like to do with their face masks.

Would love to see a fashion show with models wearing face masks. maybe maricar reyes or hayden kho would jump start it?
